As the saying goes (kind of), when life hands you shattered windows, make T-shirts.
Tesla has memorialized one of the most memorably ad-libbed vehicle unveilings in automotive history with the Cybertruck Bulletproof Tee. The shirt depicts one of the supposedly bulletproof windows that Tesla design chief Franz von Holzhausen broke with a steel ball on stage at the November reveal. The back features an outline of the pickup’s bizarre triangular shape.
And at $45, the shirt costs 99.9 percent less than an actual Cybertruck.
“T-shirt is bulletproof & makes u buff,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted on Twitter last week with a link to the shirt at Tesla’s online store. Musk also changed the display name on his Twitter account to “Buff Mage,” for reasons we didn’t bother to look into.
