Who needs a Ranger Raptor when you can order a midsize monster like this? Meet a Ranger that can not only attack the trail but can also fight on the battlefield. Ricardo, the British military outfitter, modified a 2019 Ranger for defense and security operations—although it looks like it might also be perfect for battling a zombie apocalypse. Upgrades include a rollover-protection system mounted to the roof rack, a ring-mounted weapon system in the bed, armored ballistic underfloor panels, and armored glass. There are also enough gas and water cans to take you to hell and back.

The danger Ranger also receives heavy-duty front and rear bumpers, radiator-protecting skid plates, rock sliders, olive green camouflage paint, four-point seat harnesses, and an upgraded 24-volt electrical system. Further upgrades include uprated springs, dampers, brakes, and blacked-out heavy-duty wheels wrapped with all-terrain rubber.

The Ricardo Ford Ranger is currently a prototype, but the company has also designed and built a fleet of attack Land Rovers for the British Army that are still used in operations. So if you need a squadron of badass Rangers, now you know who to call. Or if you’re a Chevy guy, GM just announced its Infantry Squad Vehicle based on the Colorado ZR2.
